ABOUT US

COINED, Comision de Intercambio Educativo, is a non-profit organization which since 1971, has been active in the field of intercultural exchange and international education. In 1985, COINED founded its first Spanish school to function as the academic branch of the organization. Today, we have schools in Cordoba, Buenos Aires, Bariloche, Ushuaia and Mendoza, in Argentina, Santiago de Chile in Chile, Montevideo in Uruguay and Heredia in Costa Rica. We also work with our partner schools in many cities of Costa Rica.

Thousands of students from around the world have taken Spanish courses at our schools and have joined our cultural immersion programs. That’s why at COINED we believe in mutual respect among different cultures and nations, which leads us to create new areas for intercultural learning through our study abroad programs.
